What Am I Responsible for the Week of February 26th?
1) Remember that your Reading Record closes on March 1. You will be responsible for a different kind of reflection in class. Be prepared to write a lot about the books you read in February.
2) You are responsible for planning your short fiction story this week. By the end of the week, you'll have a first draft. Give some extra thought to the story you want to tell and the social issues that will push your main character to want something, realize something, make a choice and then change their actions.
3) IR every night. 30 pages per night or 210 pages outside of school each week. Read to the end of chapters.
4) If you're absent, you must be working on Newsela assignments from class. Check Google Classroom for more.
